![]() I'm a Mac guy so I have no idea where to start fixing this. ![]() I then get an error message consisting of phrases like "Sonar.exe has stopped working" and "c0000005" and "Violation Access" and "Stackhash_8584." Since this started a few days ago, I have not been able to have a single session that wasn't brought to a crash within the first few minutes due to this error. I'm able to work (editing, hitting play to check the edit, repeat) for about 2 minutes (when it started it was about 5 minutes and it's gradually getting shorter) until i hit play and the screen freezes and the last 3 seconds of audio it played is looped over and over for about 20 seconds total. I've edited 1 song successfully (over 3 weeks consistently and no issues) and i started on song 2 this week when I ran into this problem. I've been using Sonar fairly often to do editing on my band's project. This system couldn't be more pure and couldn't be easier on the processor. I don't even have an interface connected to it. I've had it for about a month and it's never been connected to the internet, i'm running no plugins on any tracks and I'm using no midi/softsynths/guitar rig/VST/etc. i5, 8GB, Windows 7 - read more specs here). I have a BRAND NEW PC purchased specifically to run only Sonar 8.5 and nothing else (Dell Inspirion w. Sorry this is long, but the details need to be there. Sonar 8.5 Keeps Crashing (c0000005 error) - Help!!
